America's War Wounded

Soldiers are coming home from war with injuries of a scope and magnitude the government did not predict and is now struggling to treat. The Walter Reed hospital scandal and problems with some VA nursing homes have led Republicans and Democrats to call for better care for this new crop of veterans. A lucky few get Cadillac care at one of the VA's four polytrauma centers, including the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center at the Tampa VA Medical Center in Florida.
